Launching Finance One Ci
Note: MAC users and some remote areas can only access Finance One Ci via Citrix. Please contact the Finance One Helpdesk for registration to the Citrix Finance One Ci access group if this applies to you.
Pre-Requisites
In order to launch Finance One Ci, the PC the application is to run on must have the following software installed:
- .NET 2.0
Please contact the relevant ICT Support staff for your Faculty or Area for advice and assistance in determining whether or not the PC you wish to launch the Finance One Ci application from has the necessary pre-requisite software installed.

System verifies application requirements
If the pre-requisite software has been successfully installed on the PC, an Internet Explorer pop-up window will display, followed by the 'Launching Application' message screen:

Security Warning screen confirmation
Once the application requirements on your PC have been verified, the Security Warning screen will request confirmation that the Finance One Ci application is to be run.
Select
to launch Finance One Ci.
Error Message:
If you do not have the pre-requisite software for the Finance One Ci application installed on your PC, you will receive the following error message:
Contact ICT Support staff within your Faculty / Area for advice and assistance with installing the necessary .NET framework software on your PC.
Once the .NET software has been successfully installed, return to the Finance One web page and follow these instructions to launch the Finance One Ci application.

System downloads software components
The following screen will display, indicating that the software components are being downloaded to your PC:

User Login screen displays
Once all software components have been downloaded and installed, the Login screen will display.
Enter your User Name and Password to enable the Finance One application to authenticate you as a valid user of the system.

User Workplace displays
Once you have been authenticated as a valid user of the system, a screen similar to the screen below will display:
